Embrace the unique charm of this spacious apartment. The home features repointed exposed brick walls, wood flooring, contrasting motifs, a slight mid-century revival aesthetic, and a beautiful window with rooftop and port views.
The loft has tall ceilings and a large wooden door window with a clean view to the sea. It is very spacious and light-filled. You will also enjoy beautiful sunsets behind the river.
Located a few steps away from the main squares in the “Old City” (Plaza Independencia and Plaza Matriz) and the main pedestrian street. It is also in a walking distance from the "Rambla" (the walkway along the Rio de la Plata), Mercado del Puerto, Plaza Zabala and other main attractions of ''Ciudad Vieja". Our loft is located in the second floor accessible by ample stairs (no elevator).
Decorated in a modern style, with beautiful and brand new furniture. It has a large and fully equipped kitchen, where you will be able to cook whatever you please, from a functional meal to a gourmet feast. You may do the grocery shopping at Devoto Express, located just two blocks from the apartment.
Apart form a double size bed in the bedroom, there is a daybed (bed coach) for a third guest in the living room. Additionally, we can supply a Crib in case you come with a baby. The bathroom is properly lit and equipped with a powerful shower.

Ciudad Vieja, or the Old City, is a unique and picturesque neighborhood with a great variety of cultural and culinary options. The property is surrounded by the main historic and touristic attractions of the city, all within walking distance.
An easy and not too expensive alternative is taking a cab or Uber. The apartment is located less than a block away from the city bus stop. From there you may take off to other spots in town. You may also rent a bike and enjoy the 25 kms of the ''Rambla'' (avenue and sideway that goes all along the coastline of Montevideo) for an unforgettable ride!
Grocery:
Devoto Express, located just two blocks from the apartment. There is also a street market with vegetables, fruit and cheese every Tuesday and Friday morning at Reconquista with Alzaibar streets.

- Café Brasilero, founded in 1877. On Ituzaingó between Rincón and 25 de mayo street.
- Samsara: vegetarian buffet restaurant either to sit in or take away. Zabala with Buenos Aires Street.
- Madre Tierra : raw food, juices and desserts. Treinta y Tres Street, between Sarandi and Rincon.
-La Molienda: For a quick snack like an empanada. Peatonal Sarandi corner Treinta y Tres.

Laundry:
To do the laundry, you can either use the washing machine available at the apartment or you can go to any laundry store in the area. Better Life is the most suitable for delicate fabrics; located in Ituzaingo Street, between Cerrito and 25 de Mayo streets.
