An easy hike to the Los Padres dam and it's beautiful spillway waterfall. Ride your mountain bike along the seasonal Cachagua creek and head up Chews Ridge. Shop for that perfect bottle of wine in the Village and enjoy it in privacy on the deck.. road open to Big Sur

The Lodge at Tangled Oaks

The Lodge at Tangled Oaks is a superbly converted barn on a six acre property on Monterey Bay. Positioned half way between Monterey and Santa Cruz, Tangled Oaks is directly inland from Moss Landing at the center of the bay. The stand alone 1000 square foot Lodge is finished in shiplap walls and tongue and groove ceilings. It has a full kitchen and bath as well as a fenced back yard suitable for dogs. The Lodge is regarded as a warm, welcoming place in a beautiful California country setting.

Great S. Salinas neighborhood within walking distance to Old Town. In Old Town you will find great restaurants, places to get a drink, nightlife, and movie theater. Centrally located, 100 miles to San Francisco, 15 miles to Monterey Peninsula (Fisherman's Wharf, Aquarium, Pacific Grove, & Carmel). The unit is brand new. Cozy, sunny, and spacious, with lots of privacy. There is a Microwave, Keurig, and mini-fridge (no freezer) available for use. There is NO stove, oven, or air-conditioning.
