The apartment is above our garage and we have the benefit of solar power. We're about 2-4km from shops and restaurants, beach and family-friendly activities like the famous Saturday morning markets. We offer good beds, peace and quiet, kayaking, (a 2man kayak available), natural surroundings central to the Garden Route, only a 20 minute drive to Knysna, which is half way to Plettenberg Bay. Also 15 minutes to Wilderness Village, 40 minutes to George airport and about an hour to Oudtshoorn

The Wood Owl is a safe, small studio apartment with private terrace next to a forested area frequented by buck & birds. If you're lucky you'll hear the African wood owl at night. Fireflies sometimes light up the forest at dusk, the perfect backdrop for your outdoor braai (bbq). There is a small kitchenette with basics and it has an ensuite bathroom with shower. We are solar powered = no loadshedding! Situated a 2 min walk to the lagoon, a 5 m walk to the beach & 10 m to the restaurant

The apartment is self catering with lounge, dining area,small kitchen and bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower .The local pub, The Bell is just a short stroll away as well as popular Oakleaf bistro serving delicious healthy meals , cakes and coffee. Entire 3 bedroom house available for a relaxing holiday on the unique, secure estate of Thesen Islands. The house is light, bright, well-equipped and is ideally situated for holidays. The house is very private but at the same time has quick access to restaurants, beaches, lagoon, canals etc. The property is open plan on the living area downstairs and has direct access to the canals via a private jetty and also has a large private pool. Outdoor living and relaxing at its best.
